Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Best Car Tracker. Last updated: 16 May 2026.

These terms govern your use of Best Car Tracker's website, mobile app, and vehicle tracking services. We've written them in plain language so they're actually readable. They are a real contract — please read them. If anything is unclear, email info@bestcartracker.com.pk before you book.

Agreement to these terms

By booking installation, using our mobile app or web portal, or continuing to use any feature of our service, you agree to these terms. They apply between you (the customer) and Best Car Tracker (the service provider).

If you don't agree to a specific term, please contact us before booking — we'd rather resolve concerns up front than have surprises later. If you're booking on behalf of a business or fleet, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

What our service includes

Depending on the package you pick, our service typically includes:

  • Installation of a GPS tracking device in your vehicle by one of our certified technicians.
  • Access to our mobile app and web portal for real-time tracking, history playback, and alerts.
  • 24/7 monitoring of safety-relevant events (theft alerts, geo-fence breaches, ignition tampering, where applicable).
  • Theft recovery assistance — coordinating with you and the relevant authorities — if your vehicle is stolen.
  • Customer support during reasonable hours via phone, WhatsApp, and email; emergency response is available 24/7.

The specific features included in your service are determined by your package tier and listed on the relevant pricing page at the time of your booking.

What it doesn't include

To set expectations honestly, our service does NOT include:

  • A guarantee that your vehicle will never be stolen — we provide tracking and recovery support, not theft prevention through physical means.
  • Insurance against vehicle loss or damage. Tracking is separate from insurance; we recommend you maintain comprehensive cover.
  • Repairs to your vehicle's electrical or mechanical systems that aren't directly caused by our installation.
  • Cellular data charges for the tracker's SIM after the first year if you operate outside our coverage assumptions — edge cases like extended out-of-country use should be discussed with us first.
  • Recovery of a vehicle that is damaged, dismantled, or relocated in a way that defeats GPS tracking. We'll do everything reasonable; we can't guarantee outcomes.

Customer responsibilities

For the service to work properly, we need a few things from you:

  • Provide accurate vehicle and contact information at the time of booking. If anything changes (new phone number, sale of the vehicle), let us know.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your login.
  • Don't tamper with the tracker hardware after installation, and don't allow unauthorised people to remove or modify it.
  • Notify us immediately if your vehicle is stolen so we can coordinate a recovery effort. Time matters.
  • Pay invoices on time. We'll send reminders before any service interruption.

Hardware warranty (2 years)

We back our tracker hardware with a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of installation. If the device fails because of a manufacturing issue, we'll repair or replace it (our choice, based on what's practical) at no cost to you.

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Damage from accidents, collisions, or any impact to the vehicle.
  • Intentional tampering or attempts to disable the tracker.
  • Damage from unauthorised modifications to the device or to the vehicle's electrical system after installation.
  • Water damage if the device was originally installed in a non-waterproof location at the customer's request, against our recommendation.
  • Wear and tear consistent with the age of the device after the two-year period ends.

The full 2-year warranty starts the day our technician completes installation. We'll provide a written confirmation of the installation date that you should keep for your records.

Service availability

Our 24/7 control room monitors tracking events continuously, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Disruptions can happen because of:

  • Cellular network outages affecting the tracker's SIM card.
  • GPS signal blockage in tunnels, underground parking, or buildings with significant metal shielding.
  • Scheduled maintenance of our platform (we announce these in advance where possible).
  • Force majeure events — natural disasters, government action, large-scale infrastructure failures.

We design our platform for high availability, but tracking depends on factors outside our direct control.

Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and include the tracker hardware, installation, and the features specified for your package tier. Year 1 pricing is paid up front. Year 2 onwards is the Annual Monitoring Fee (AMF) — listed alongside each package on our pricing pages.

Pricing can change over time, but any change to your AMF will be communicated at least 30 days before renewal. Renewing after a communicated price change confirms your acceptance of the new amount.

We do not charge online via the website — payment is arranged with our team during the booking confirmation call. Acceptable payment methods are cash, bank transfer, and any other method we announce at the time of booking.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your service at any time. Refund eligibility depends on when you cancel:

  • Before installation:Full refund of any amount paid, minus any non-recoverable expenses we've incurred on your behalf (typically zero).
  • Within 7 days of installation: Pro-rated refund of the unused portion of Year 1, minus an installation and hardware cost equal to the Year-2 AMF for your tier.
  • After 7 days:No refund on Year 1; future renewal fees can be cancelled by giving 30 days' notice before the renewal date.

In all cases, we'll remove the tracker hardware on request, at our standard service-call rate.

Liability and disclaimers

Our service is provided in good faith and to a reasonable professional standard. To the extent permitted by Pakistani law:

  • Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or from our service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or replacement vehicle costs.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Pakistani law.

Data ownership

The location, ignition, and sensor data generated by your vehicle belongs to you. We hold and process it on your behalf to deliver the service. We don't sell it. We don't use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

On request, we'll provide an export of your tracking data within a reasonable timeframe. After service cancellation, we retain the data only for the period required by law and for legitimate operational purposes (e.g., an open recovery case).

Dispute resolution and applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. If a dispute arises, please contact us first — we prefer to resolve issues through direct conversation, and we'll respond quickly.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our service evolves or when legal requirements change. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent substantive change.

For changes that materially affect existing customers' rights or obligations, we'll notify you directly (email, SMS, or app notification) at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date confirms your acceptance of the updated terms.
